Dear Family (and we mean all of humanity),
Opening Minds and Hearts (OMAH) was co-created by diverse individuals recognizing a need to come together to explore division and conflict as it exists within ourselves and society - seeing it all interconnected.
Our mission is to facilitate inquiry-based spaces that look beyond surface-level symptoms to explore the underlying roots of internal and external conflict, suffering, disconnection, prejudice, and discrimination. These spaces foster a transformation within oneself through awareness and understanding, which leads to an increase in community cohesion, and new possibilities of living in harmony with ourselves and each other.
We offered these facilitated spaces at community centers, addiction recovery centers, schools, prisons, on the streets, and virtually.
In all our activities, we see healing, rejuvenation, liberation, fulfillment, and transformation not as a distant outcome, but as something essential to explore in each step and moment for all involved.
